Here's the recipe for the Rice Krispies dessert that I mentioned earlier in the week:
Crispy Chocolate Log
1 - 10 oz. pkg. large marshmallows
1/4 C. butter
1/8 C. peanut butter
6 C. Rice Krispies
1 1/3 C. milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
3/4 C. butterscotch chips
Line a 15x10x1" pan with waxed paper. Spray paper well with cooking spray. In large bowl, combine marshmallows, butter, and peanut butter. Cover and microwave for 1 minute. Stir until well-blended; stir in cereal. Spread in pan with buttered hands. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in microwave for 2 minutes. Spread on cereal mixture to within 1" of edges. Roll up long way, peeling away waxed paper while rolling. Place seam side down. Refrigerate 1 hour before slicing.
Julie! I will be making this soon! Thank You! ...from my entire family! :)
ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know I placed a link on my post yesterday, to this delicious treat. I made these this weekend and have ingredients to make another batch this afternoon. My children do not want me to go back to the old way! LOL For the holidays I am going to add a bit of the colored sugar to the cereal mixture. These are so pretty on a platter and look like you fussed. Thanks again!
