Thank You, LORD . . .

for gorgeous flower arrangements -
5954.) for all the blessings and joys of yesterday's baptism and celebration picnic here at the farm for a friend
5955.) for the perfect weather we had for it
5956.) for the amazing turtle cheesecake and fruit trifle that friends brought
5957.) for Ben's sweet blessing of grace over our picnic
5958.) for a quiet Sunday evening after the happy hubbub with time to read and take our weekly farm walk-over
5959.) that the house and farm are so tidy!
5960.) for the big bunch of mini sunflowers that a friend sent home with the boys last night for me
5961.) that You are our God forever and ever, that You are great and worthy of all praise (Psalm 48:1 & 14)
5962.) that He is my Chief Cornerstone (Luke 20:17)
5963.) that pleasant words are like honeycomb, making people happy and healthy (Proverbs 16:24) - help me to speak life into other's lives
5964.) for how beautiful the 15 foot golden creatures with wings that spanned the walls must have been in the Most Holy Place of Solomon's Temple (I Kings 6:23-28) - and yet, I'm sure, of no comparison to the majesty of Your handiwork in the real thing

I love reading on my deck in the evenings. Have you read the Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers? I started it yesterday - excellect!
