Spicy Pancakes

Made these pancakes for breakfast one morning last week - a good, seasonal twist on an old breakfast stand-by.

Spicy Pancakes

2 C. Bisquick
2 tabl. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
Pinch of ginger
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 to 1 1/4 C. milk

Heat large skillet over medium-high heat.  Combine Bisquick, sugar and spices.  Whisk in eggs and milk.  For each pancake, pour 1/4 C. batter onto hot, greased skillet.  Cook until bubbly on top; flip and cook on other side.

Did you just top them with regular pancake syrup, or is there some special syrup?
