Thank You, LORD . . .

For my snowboard-loving son - and for the beauty of this morning's fresh snowfall . . .
.) that You have lately given me a deeper understanding of, and gratitude for, His sacrifice for me and for the whole world
.) for sermons that are practical, timely and encouraging
.) for the surprise of a Hoss' gift card from friends tucked into our church mailbox
.) for a fun evening at a mud sale and the bargains we brought home from the grocery auction
.) for the beauty of a lawn we saw yesterday that was sprinkled with winter aconite (little buttercup-like flowers) - the first flowers I've seen blooming
.) for the reminder that it is wise to think about the love of the LORD (Psalm 107:43)
.) for the comfort of Your words time and again: "Don't be afraid." (Genesis 46:3)
.) that the Son of Man will come again with His Father's glory and with His angels (Matthew 16:27)
.) for those You have placed in my life who sharpen me (Proverbs 27:17)
