Twice a year, two friends and I get together for lunch. These ladies are two of the many I worked with at the local Girl Scout council before my boys were born. We spent a pleasant afternoon catching up on each other's lives and talking about the latest Girl Scout news - as they say, once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout. Anyway, our lunch last week was held at the home of one of these friends. Her menu is included below, especially because I wanted to share the makings of the delicious wraps she put together for us. The flowers in the photo are from my garden and were Judy's hostess gift.
An End of Summer Lunch
* Chicken & Cheese Wraps (included in these wraps were layers of oven-roasted chicken, American and Colby cheeses, light mayo, very thin slices of cranberry sauce (for flavor and moisture) and thin slices of Granny Smith apples - unique & delicious)
* Utz's Natural Kettle Cooked Potato Chips (Multi-colored!)
* Dark red cherries
* Homemade Blueberry Crisp with a dollop of whipped cream
