Morning Prayer

Guard my tongue today, Abba - reminding me that:

"In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise." (Proverbs 10:19)

And in the few words that I do speak, let my tongue be like a butter knife spreading grace, not a dagger that destroys.
