An Autumn Mountain Trip
The five of us spent several days last weekend at the cabin - leaf-peeping, hunting, and festival- going. It was the first time in almost a year that all the boys could be with us. What a treat to have all my chicks in the nest for three days straight!
A visit to a little zoo called Animaland -
PA's Little Grand Canyon
An afternoon of watercolors -
An Apple Butter Festival -
From a birds-of-prey exhibit at a Fall Festival -

Great pictures! I haven't been to PA's grand canyon in years. Love the small town you travel through to get there, can't recall the name, but the town square and street lights are beautiful!
You're referring to Wellsboro - every time we visit there I think of Jan Karon's series of books about the little town of Mitford. If you've never read them, I highly, highly recommend them!
Animal Land?!?! I remember that! I still have my journal entry from when we went there when we were little (the journaling was assigned by Mom to count as writing). A fun memory! Love, Kylie

The apple butter boil looks really interesting. Did you get to try samples? I imagine apple butter made like that would be really yummy...
Glad to remind you of a fond memory, Kylie! Animaland is what Eli chose to do for his 16th birthday. He wants me to share more photos from the day.
No samples, Brianna. Though I did bring home a jar of orange-flavored honey that one of the vendors was selling - delicious!
My aunt has mentioned her before, she writes through the eyes of an Episcopal priest, our faith. I will have to look for them.
Have a good weekend!
Sandy
