Oriental Chicken

Made this for supper the other evening and realized that it was never shared on the blog, so here it is:

Oriental Chicken (a flavorful chicken gravy that's poured over Chinese noodles)

6 tabl. margarine
1 1/4 C. flour
4 C. chicken broth
2 C. water
1/4 C. + 2 tabl. soy sauce
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/4 tsp. pepper
2 large or 3 small chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
2 - 5 oz. cans of crunchy chow mein noodles

Melt margarine over low heat.  Turn heat up to medium and stir in flour.  Whisk in broth, water, soy sauce and spices; simmer and stir until thickened.  Stir in chicken and serve over noodles.  Delicious served with a side of broccoli.
