Life in Skunk Hollow - A Visual Journal of the Rich Life That God Has Given
"Instead of going through a day in the way we sometimes drive to work or the grocery store (on autopilot), what if we really paid attention to landmarks, events, sensations, and experiences along the way, as well as the feelings generated, thoughts triggered, and memories evoked? And what if at the end of the day, we listed the things we had experienced and expanded on each with a sentence or two, taking care to mention how something felt, tasted, sounded, looked, or smelled? Imagine the evidence of a rich life we would have . . ." -- Nancy J. Nordenson, Just Think - Nourish Your Mind to Feed Your Soul
I live in a 100 year old farmhouse in a little valley (affectionately known as Skunk Hollow!) with my husband, three sons, two cows, eighteen chickens, eight goats and a red-tailed hawk in a pine tree! Things that bring me joy: being a child of the King, laughing with my husband, and homeschooling Ben (17), Caleb (15) and Eli (14).
"But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." -- Acts 20:24
