Common Ground

"This is important. Many Christians buy into the lie that they have nothing in common with their culture. Yet if we look at our own sin and our own experience of being sinned against, we will humbly recognize common experience and common grief. It is the recognition of this common ground that moves us toward ministry to the culture. And to this common ground we are called to bring the message of the Gospel."

Hello! I am a homeschooling mom too. We have two teenage boys (although our 19 yr old will soon be out of his teens). Your pictures are beautiful and I appreciate all the tips and information on your blog. I'll be back!

Sharon,

"How People Change" is excellent - I'm so glad you're reading it! Even better is "Instruments in a Redeemer's Hands - People In Need of Change Helping People In Need of Change" by Paul Tripp. That book has helped me in understanding my own heart as well as helping and ministering to others more than any other book except the Word of God!

Momstheword - so glad to have you! Thanks for writing!!
