My latest sewing project - a cloth shopping bag! I LOVE the cherry-spreckled fabric I found at a flea market (click on the bag photo to get a better view of it). Here's where to find the tutorial for it: http://pleasantviewschoolhouse.blogspot.com/2007/11/how-to-sew-cloth-shopping-bag.html. It was easy to follow and make - and, believe me, I'm definitely a beginner!

How cute - and you are doing great. I love this pattern - I plan to make several up - they would be great little gifts to have on hand - and you could stuff them with goodies if the recipient was one to whom I wished to give something a bit "more". You could also make it work for a child's gift. Or you could use the bag as the "wrapping paper". I am on a roll - must get sewing.......
Blessings,
Patti
Thanks for the encouragement and comments, Patti! You've got some great ideas there!
